He went to work (himself)sick, and despite nasty weather.

The maple leaves went brown.

Her hair's going grey.

He went red(pale/white)with anger.

The grass was going green.

Eggs are apt to go bad in summer.

The situation went from bad to worse.

He has gone mad/crazy.

The old man has gone bald(blind).

Henry has gone quite deaf.

The heat has caused the milk to go sour.

Fruit quickly goes rotten in hot weather.

The workers decided to go slow.

The telephone has gone dead.

She told me how she first went wrong.

In spite of his age,he is still going strong.

In some parts of Africa, people used to go naked.

You'll never go wrong if you follow his advice.

You'd better go armed while in the jungle.

All my letters went unanswered.

The thieves must not go unpunished.

go critical(达到临界),go solid(变成固体),go negative(变成负值),gonuclear(核力量化),go metric(实行公制)。
